The weather conditions have again been trying with several farms reporting being in a similar position to last year. There is definitely an autumn feel to the air and more rain will be coming. Thanks to those clients completing the compliance requirements around dry cow authorisations. We have our requirements which we need to meet for our governing bodies. Several farmers have commented that when they stopped fighting them then they became easier. I personally will not add more compliance requirements than what we require.
